Frontier Utilities teamed up with KPRC Channel 2 and Telemundo Houston to help bring awareness to the Clear the Shelters campaign in the Houston community on August 18. Throughout the campaign, participating local Houston animal shelters offered no-cost to reduced fee adoptions or waived spaying and neutering fees. The Frontier team joined the Houston Humane Society and volunteered their time to walk dogs and cover fees for several of the adoptions. In addition, Frontier committed to donating $75 back to the Humane Society for every electricity plan enrollment at their Children’s Museum booth. 

The national campaign introduced 80,000 homeless pets to new families last year, nearly 3,000 of them from the Houston area.
