For the 3rd year in a row, the Frontier Utilities team has partnered up with the Houston Humane Society and KPRC Channel 2 to Clear the Shelters on August 17. Participating animal shelters in the Houston area offered no-cost or reduced fee adoptions or waived pet spaying and neutering fees. Additionally, Frontier sponsored several dogs and cats by covering their adoption fees and any additional health-related costs for these animals. This year's Clear the Shelters event resulted in hundreds of dogs, cats and other animal adoptions across the Houston area! 

Clear the Shelters is a national initiative that helps raise awareness about the importance of pet adoption and the overcrowding issues that local animal shelters typically experience in the summer months because of spring litters.
